Description	CINAHL (Cumulated Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature) covers nursing, biomedicine, health sciences, complementary medicine, consumer health & allied health disciplines. Includes full text for 337 journals, as well as book chapters & dissertations. BEST BET!!

Hints for searching	SUBJECT SEARCHING Browse "CINAHL Headings" to find the proper term to use for conditions, diseases, treatments & procedures. Check off "Explode" and "Major Concept" boxes if relevant KEYWORD SEARCHING Use quotation marks to search a phrase: Example: "heart attack" Combine words or phrases with the word *and: Example: "heart attack" and artery* *REFINING RESULTS* Check off the "full text" box to get entire articles. If you do not limit to "Core Nursing" (see below) check off the "scholarly (peer reviewed) journal" box to get material written for professionals in a field of study. In the "Journal subset" list, limit to Core Nursing for nursing assignments. This limits the results to 86 major nursing titles. A list of those titles is here. In the "Publication Type" list, limit to Research to get evidence-based nursing articles.
